Christmas Candles

Custom built six (6) Candles for my family. 3D Modeled, FDM Printed, Painted, Clearcoated, & filled with Fragranced Wax.

FDM Vase

Using Blender and Zbrush for Alpha texture application, boolean, and polygon touch up. Vase is made up of two shells, increased density on base of interior shell for structural integrity. Note the texture map differences.

Polyurethane Duck

Using Blender to generate 3D Model, Negative, and Mold. Two-part mold registration marks to ensure secure fit.

Cast in Flexfoam-iT! 6 Pillow Soft, two part Polyurethane. Applied Bar Soap and Cornstarch as a mold release agent (it’s effective as a diy mold release!).

Plaster Cast Torso

Torso sculpted in Zbrush and 3D printed to build master mold. Using Silicon Base Mold to capture high frequency detail and Plaster Mother Mold for mold rigidity & cost savings (Silicon Polyurethane is pricey).

Protective Wax Finish using candle wax and distilled turpentine. Finishing process inspired by Jacqueline Gomez.

Onewheel Accessories

Mix of 3D Scanning and Handtools for precision measuring.

Split Fender

Remix of base Fender .stl file. Retopologized the model for parametric editing. Lengthened base to reduce Fender and Tire gap. Adjusted Fender silhouette and contour shape.

W-Concave Foam Footpads

Layered 1/8″ Neoprene Foam, Jessup Griptape, bonded with Weldwood Contact Cement. Adhered to base plastic using Permatex Spray Adhesive.

Mic Holster

Using CAD Sketcher plugin in Blender for non destructive, precision measurement. Low resolution printing for quick prototyping and test fitting.
